Becoming a coach/captain...

How to register as a captain

• Log onto http://teamtennis.usta.com.
• Click on Become Coach/Captain.   If you have a USTA membership number enter and click submit.  If you do not have a USTA membership number, enter your contact information. 
• Create a password, confirm it, and then make up a password hint in case you forget.  
• Please complete all requested information.  This information is needed for other captains to contact you.
• Click submit.
  You will  be assigned a Team Tennis #.  MAKE A NOTE OF YOUR TEAM TENNIS #, PASSWORD and PASSWORD HINT.
  To log in to Tennislink from here on out, you will need your USTA # or Team Tennis #, and password.

Registering/Creating Teams...

• How to create a team.
• Log onto http://teamtennis.usta.com
• Log into the system as a coach/captain (You have to be register as a Captain in order to create a team)
• Click on "Create a Team".  Select Type of Program (Jr), Section (Southern), District (Georgia),
  Area (Atlanta - Juniors) and then click go.
• Choose - A Tennis Association for Kids ATAK (Make sure you choose the correct age level)
• MAKE A NOTE OF YOUR NEW TEAM NUMBER. 
• Create team name (Facility name and Captains last name), select facility, select division, check affiliations.
• Select shirt color and type in shipping address for shirts.
• Enter Co-captain information, if applicable.
• Click on Save *******Very Important***** The system will not create the team unless you SAVE

Registering Players...

• How to registration a player-
• Log onto teamtennis.usta.com
• Click on "Register for a Team". 
• Enter the team number provided to you by the captain. 
• Then enter in your USTA membership number.
  (VERY IMPORTANT – Shirt sizes cannot be changed after registration is complete.) 
• Shirt sizing chart is available.   It is recommended that you review before choosing a size.
• Complete payment information and submit.

Entering Match Scores...

• Log onto teamtennis.usta.com.
• Log into the system as a coach/captain.
• Click on "score entry" under the my options heading. 
• Enter in the match number and click "next".  The match number can be found on the schedule.
• Enter the date of the match at the top and then the match results.  Click "next" and review the information.  
  Click "finish" when you are done.

How to find your Match Schedule and Additional Reports...

• Log onto teamtennis.usta.com
• Log into the system as a coach/captain.  Click on "teams" under my options.
• Click on the stats and standing icon to the right of the team name. 

You will then see the following choices:

• team summary- lists players registered for this team, team standings, and team matches schedule match summary- lists all matches on schedule with results of each match played.
• match summary-  a summary of scores from all matches played by your team
• match schedule- lists date, time and location of your team matches on schedule, good report to give to players/parents.
• player roster- lists all players on your team, including contact information
• blank scorecard- provides a blank scorecard at could be taken to a match for score recording

Click on the Flight/Division information on the right side of the page

• summary-  list of all teams in your division
• team standings- shows a complete list of scores for all the teams your the division
• match summary-  a summary of scores from all matches played in your division
• match schedule- lists date, time and location of team matches for all teams in your division
• coach/captain report- a list of all coaches within the division with contact information.
